Show 04 __ The Hospitality Initiative
This podcast features Disability Law Lowdown's reporter Patrick Going interviewing Marian Vessels, Director of the The DBTAC: Mid-Atlantic ADA Center, which, together with the national network of regional DBTACs, launched an initiative to promote accessibility and opportunity for people with disabilities within the hospitality industry. The podcast features an overview of the initiative and a discussion of the new resources created for the hospitality industry to help it serve customers with disabilities and comply with the ADA.The main focus of the initiative is restaurants, bars, and lodging facilities. The American Hotel & Lodging Association, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Asian Americans Hotel Owners Association are collaborative partners in this project.
